This little corner is where the side wall of the front porch meets the cement portion of the side gate to our place. I feel the shadows from the porch light display a quieter, intimate sort of feeling that can be associated with the night or the ending of a day. I enjoy how the light brings together two unlikely-paired textures, and creates an interesting duo together. It creates a pulled feeling between the two individual textures, as well as bringing a cohesiveness at the same time. This picture reiterates my aesthetic love of simplicity, oppositional ideas, and the isolation of light.Saturday, November 3, 2018

Very nice image - interesting that it has some of the themes of your piece from this week and the color palette is similar to what David did :) - great post
